For a Complete and Healthy Smile
If you have several missing or failing teeth, or if you are missing all of your teeth, full-arch restoration is a dental procedure that may be right for you. Dental implants act as natural tooth roots, preventing bone loss and preserving your facial structure. With just four dental implants, a full arch of new teeth can be securely supported. The custom-made prosthesis is not only fully functional but has a natural appearance.
Raleigh Oral Surgery & Dental Implants specializes in full-arch restoration. With the expertise of Dr. Hoverstad, Dr. Camp, Dr. Milewski, and Dr. Marrazzo, you can achieve a beautiful smile and fully functioning new teeth supported by dental implants. Whether you are missing many or all of your teeth, full-arch restoration offers an excellent alternative to dentures. We encourage you to contact our practice in Raleigh, NC, or Clayton, NC, for a comprehensive consultation.
Benefits of Full-Arch Restoration
Improved Oral Health
Full-arch restoration with dental implants helps preserve the health of your jaw bone by preventing bone loss and preserving facial structure. Dental implants act as natural tooth roots, stimulating the bone and preventing deterioration.
Long-Term Solution
Unlike dentures, which may need to be replaced every few years, full-arch restoration with dental implants provides a long-term solution for replacing missing or failing teeth. The implants fuse with the jaw bone, creating a stable foundation for your new teeth.
Enhanced Functionality
With full-arch restoration, you can enjoy the full functionality of your teeth once again. Implant-supported dentures remain securely in your mouth, allowing you to eat your favorite foods without restrictions.
Easy Care
Full-arch restoration eliminates the need for removable dentures, which can be inconvenient and require special care. With implant-supported dentures, you can brush and floss your teeth as you would with natural teeth, making oral hygiene simple and convenient.
Full-Arch Restoration Procedure
All full-arch restoration treatments begin with a consultation. During this first visit, one of our experienced oral surgeons will evaluate your oral health, discuss your goals and concerns, and create a customized treatment plan specifically tailored to your needs. 3D scans will be used to ensure surgical accuracy and predictable results.
On the day of your surgery, anesthesia will be administered to ensure your comfort. Once you are comfortable, the surgical procedure will begin with the extraction of any remaining teeth, if necessary. Then, as few as four dental implants will be inserted into the jaw bone.
During the healing period, which typically lasts several months, the dental implants will fuse with your jaw bone, providing a stable foundation for your new teeth. In the meantime, you will wear a temporary prosthesis to maintain function and aesthetics. Once the healing process is complete, a restorative dentist will attach the final prosthesis, which will be custom-made for comfort and a natural appearance.
Types of Anesthesia
We offer several forms of anesthesia to ensure your comfort.
